Why plants?

Plants are a ‘way in’ to experiencing a whole interrelated world of living and non-living things (to use that inaccurate binary). These kind of relationships (understood in a limited way as ‘symbiotic’ via the lens of science) are far from being exceptional – they are the stuff of life on this planet. This universal interrelatedness is one of the many things plants can show us, and they often do this in beautiful ways, almost asking us to pay attention.
