A space for learning and connection that centres plants and creativity

I work in collaboration with community and environmental organisations, local councils, the NFP sector, cooperatives, and plant and community-oriented social enterprise to provide a space for learning and growth.

I hope to provide opportunities for creative connections – on a personal level, with each other and with the plant communities and local ecologies around us.

I also hope to provide opportunities for experiential learning – learning by doing – and for all of us to feel more confident expressing ourselves with drawing!

Pencils, paper, ink …

I provide a set of basic materials to use on the day but bring your own art supplies and sketchbook if you’d like to :)

Free Indigenous plant every time you attend

Each session I bring along a range of Indigenous plants in forestry tubes from VINC (Victorian Indigenous Nurseries Co-operative).

The plants are for us to draw together in the session and for you to take home afterwards if you’d like to :)

How much?

I seek out grants or am paid by community organisations, councils, etc. to run Draw Plants Together.

Often workshops are free but sometimes there's a cost associated with attending. This depends on who is funding the workshop, where the workshop is being held or if the workshop is part of a fundraising or similar activity.

  • A feeling of wellbeing – notice plants more in the company of others and gain confidence with drawing
