My name is Craig Burgess and I am an artist based in Narrm (now called Melbourne, Australia) on Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Country. 

The Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung are the First People of the place I live. I would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri as the owners of this land — and to acknowledge their custodianship over tens of thousands of years. I pay my respects to their Elders in all times and to their people. 

And I’d like to extend this acknowledgment and expression of respect to all First Nations Elders and communities across the continent.
